The B-260 battery-operated ultraviolet lamp uses two 6-watt, self-filtered, long-wave UV tubes to detect soils, contamination and microbial growths not visible by the naked eye. It can be utilized in a variety of areas such as guest rooms and rest rooms, food preparation surfaces, on exercise equipment and in saunas and spas.

This portable, lantern-style unit has a number of built-in features that make inspection easy and convenient. It includes a 6-volt rechargeable battery, AC charger and charging cord. The battery is designed to last 4 to 5 years under normal conditions.

The B-260 can be operated with a single UV tube to conserve battery life or both tubes for maximum UV intensity. The dual tubes provide up to five hours of operation and single tubes provide seven hours. The lamp weighs only 4 lbs (2 kg) with the battery. It is housed in high-impact plastic and features an aluminum tube guard.
