Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has taken on a leadership role in the area of sustainability with the development of the Golisano Institute for Sustainability (GIS). RIT is committed to supporting changes in industrial development that will affect future generations, and Rochester Midland is proud to be their first Affiliate Partner in the mid-sized manufacturer category.
This unique initiative will help play a major role in creating innovative education and technology related to sustainable products, clean production, recycling and remanufacturing. Cooperation by industry and academics through innovation is a synergistic approach that will pave the way toward sustainability in product development.
