Hydro Systems Now a Sponsor of Healthy Schools Campaign

Hydro Systems Co., an independent manufacturer of proportioning, dosing and dispensing systems for concentrated chemicals, and automatic/touch-free cleaning systems for daily cleaning applications, is now an official sponsor of the Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC). Specifically, Hydro Systems will now be supporting the second edition of the HSC's “Quick and Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools.” More than 30,000 copies of the guide will be delivered to leading professionals in the cleaning and education industries.

“It's been remarkable to see how much Green cleaning in schools has grown in the two years since we released the first guide,” said Rochelle Davis, Executive Editor of the guide and Founding Executive Director of the Healthy Schools Campaign. “There is a growing awareness of the way that cleaning can affect the health of everyone in the building, from students to the custodial staff working closely with the chemicals. In that way, a cleaning program affects student performance, staff attendance and the overall climate of a school. We're honored to work with so many leading organizations to provide a guide that schools can use to make their buildings clean, healthy places to learn and work.”

The Healthy Schools Campaign is a not-for-profit organization that has become a leading authority on healthy school environments. The HSC's mission is to advocate for policies and practices that allow all students, teachers and staff to learn and work in a healthy school environment.

“Hydro Systems is excited to be sponsoring the Healthy Schools Campaign and this is another example of our commitment to the continual improvement in cleaning technologies used in classrooms today and in the future,” said Bradley Drury, Hydro Systems. “Since we launched the ICS 8900 mobile cleaning unit in 2007, it has been very evident that the Green benefits of this new touchless technology work hand-in-hand with the mission of the HSC to provide cleaner and healthier schools.”
