The Andersen Company, a leading manufacturer of high performance mat products for the jan/san industry, has announced that Mike Sharlow has recently earned certification as a Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) ISSA Certification Expert (I.C.E.)
Sharlow has over 25 years experience in the jan/san industry, 12 years as a building service contractor as well as sales management roles with a powered cleaning equipment manufacturer and chemical manufacture before joining The Andersen Company.
According to Sharlow, CIMS is a true consensus-based process incorporating universally accepted management principles proven to be the hallmarks of well-managed and customer-centered cleaning organization. Sharlow went on to say “It’s a set of “best practices” and standards that will help both building service contractors and in-house cleaning operations deliver consistent quality systems in; service delivery; human resources; health; safety; environmental stewardship and management commitment.
