The Huskee SuperKan receptacle produced by Continental Commercial Products, a leading manufacturer of maintenance and storage products for janitorial, food service and retail use, now has a new BackSaver model: a 32-gallon sized version.
“The SuperKan has always had lots of enthusiasts. It’s known as the strongest, safest and smartest receptacle available on the market today. This new product upgrade is a smaller version, which has lots of appeal,” said Tony Maiuro, plastics product manager for Continental Commercial Products (CCP). “We added it in response to our customers’ requests for a 32-gallon version in addition to the original 44-gallon SuperKan BackSaver.”
The SuperKan BackSaver includes internal lift vents in the form of ribbing inside the can. This allows air to vent to the bottom of the can, so it breaks the vacuum normally created by a polyliner. “In laboratory testing, we have proved that this reduces the vertical lift force required to remove a bag of trash by more than 50 percent,” said CCP’s Maiuro.
The SuperKan BackSaver is a good option for locations in which space is at a premium, and in facilities that utilize polyliners in their receptacles.
